Works great so far!

Update: Okay, I was a little hasty on my first review, for some reason the first 50% charged very quickly and the rest became very slow. Still it's good, it took about 6 hours to fully charge my 500w Rockport box, 6 hours is still good from 5% to 100%. Right now (I don't want to jinx it) I'm getting about 100 watts. /hour fee. I have a 500w Rockport solar generator that I shut down to 20% last night so I can test the panels charging today. Installed the panels this morning at 7am and pointed them at the sun (I'm at about 4000 miles in Santa Fe, New Mexico) and within an hour they are 25% charged (currently 48% in the picture, I'll say 25 ). % because the first few % charged very quickly for some reason so I ignored them πŸ˜‚πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ). Anyway if that's the case then these panels are amazing, I've read some reviews saying they get 15-30 watts/hour? I'm not sure if we're talking about these things differently or something different, but I'm doing great. So far I am very satisfied, at this rate my 500w generator is charged in 4 hours with this 120w panel. Stitching up soon, the supports in the back seem strong enough, I might try to find a system to secure the straps in case the wind picks up so they don't move (although it should be a decent wind because they have it little weight for them). Overall I'm very happy with these panels at the moment, if anything changes or if these numbers are random I'll update as needed. In the meantime I would buy again.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Swap availability
