Well I was warned by previous reviews. It simply does not work! When I'm using a Mac, when I plug it in, I get a warning that the USB port is overloaded and is disconnecting. If I remove it, the USB comes back. I was just trying to use an old FireWire flash drive. Too cumbersome to send back. Do not buy! Update: customer service is pretty good. They took note of my negative review - asked a few questions - found that the device does not support "drive" (note that I used a flash drive). They refunded my money and the USB port on my Mac wasn't damaged so it's not a loss to me.
