I knew it was a cheap conversion option for some tapes but had no idea how cheap it was. The door wouldn't even close or lock to hold the tape, then I went to download the software from a severely outdated CD. Needless to say the software is outdated so I downloaded it from the web and had better success. After that (and with the lid closed) he hardly played and was very deaf. The instruction book is so small with SO many detailed instructions that I needed a magnifying glass to read it and I have good eyesight. This is not an easy effort and it is not a quality task. Run away from this VERY cheap and inconvenient product.
