Mic volume very low

Very comfortable and lightweight. Headphones are fine, but microphone reception is poor. I had to crank the mic level to the max and I still have to speak really loud for people to hear me. This was the second pair I tried and both had the same issue. I had to go back to my old pair (different brand) with worn out ear pads. They should be way better for the price (&gt;$40) I paid.
