Review on Bose SoundSport Free: Midnight Blue/Citron Wireless Earbuds for Workouts and Sports by Jnis Muinieks ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I did not like it, I do not advise buying.

Mono sound is produced and just the right ear is usable; the device is referred to only as a "head phone" (think headset). Many attempts at tambourine dancing resulted in failure. Over the past two years, there were tangos with audio drivers and Bluetooth drivers. The best we could do is have it appear that he has "both" devices (both the "headset" and the "stereo headphones") connected after successful pairing, with the message "Connected voice, music" being displayed, but the "stereo headphones" being safely disconnected with the "connection interrupted" flag upon any attempt to play something. Only by reconnecting will the connection be restored, and at that point everything will be brand new. Bose technical support's e-mail remains unpublished (all the few "representations" from the small ranks of dealers in 2022 occasionally do not pick up the phone). I've been dealing with this issue by myself for over a month now. While these headphones and an iPhone/iPad do make life easier, the fact that they prevent you from doing any meaningful work necessitates the usage of a laptop anyway.

Pros
  • Excellent sound quality; 2) Secure fit in the ear canal; 3) Fashionable appearance (but this is a matter of personal preference); and 4) Versatile functionality.
Cons
  • The two biggest issues are 1) not being able to connect to a Windows laptop and 2) having no access to technical support in the year 2022.
