I hate writing bad reviews and I only do it because people can buy them to make masks. The CDC recommends a thread count of 600. This is advertised as 1000 threads. It's not like this. Nowhere on the packaging or label is the number of threads indicated. The material is hard. You can see through (big no-no if you're making masks. I know the stuff - I've been sewing for years - I can tell you it's not 1000 threads. I'm just writing this to warn people if they intend to do this Use this material for masks, even for pillowcases, they are not soft, they were cheaper than 600 thread pillowcases, live and learn, you get what you pay for
