I installed a Lenovo Ideapad G575 with 4GB RAM. With Windows 10 I needed a more responsive computer so I ordered and added an 8GB kit. I have a lot of experience upgrading computers and memory, but this was the first computer where the computer would not boot after replacing the original two memory modules with new ones. Individually they worked well. I ended up having to remove the battery and power cord and press the power button for about 1 minute. Then, after reseating the battery and power cord, the computer booted with both 4GB memory modules and everything was fine. Windows 10 is now more responsive and reports 8GB of system memory. Of this, 7.60 GB can be used. I have purchased memory modules from A-Tech in the past with no problems.
