Works very well for temperature controller

I ordered two of these to build an incubator and incubator. Instead, I built a heated/cooled incubator first. The heater is a 100 watt reptile radiant heater and the cooler is a computer fan. I was very impressed with the performance of the controller. It keeps its program even after a power failure. Mine was accidentally caught in the rain and was unharmed. I'm not saying it's waterproof - just lucky. When it got wet I was afraid it would die, but it continued to function normally. It was a bit difficult for me to figure out how to program the device. After reading the instructions several times, I finally realized that you need to save the entered value by pressing the power button after making each adjustment. The way you set heating and cooling is, as you would expect, by setting a ceiling on the heating temperature. Then set the cooling setpoint by selecting a difference of 1 to 30 degrees as one of the menu items. Let's say you're hatching eggs and you set the temperature to 100 degrees. You don't want the eggs to go higher than 102. Set the degree difference between heating and cooling to 2 degrees. Therefore, at temperatures below 100, the heating function is switched on. As soon as the device reaches 100 degrees, the controller switches off the heating. When the thermostat detects the temperature has risen more than the 2 degrees you selected, the cooling device will activate and stay on until the sensor detects a temperature below 102. The maximum difference between heating and cooling is 30 degrees. The minimum difference between heating and cooling is 1 degree. The temperature is displayed in tenths of a degree, allowing you to adjust the heating setpoint to 99.5 degrees. The display has two LED indicators labeled heating and cooling so you can see at a glance whether the controller is in heating or cooling mode. The current temperature is continuously displayed. This thermostat controller appears to be very accurate. My quail are very happy with their new incubator.
