This is a decent replacement for a pen if you ONLY need it for taking notes or pointing and clicking. However, when drawing/drawing on your iPad, the print accuracy is mostly non-existent. I mean if you're using a brush that needs to respond to pen pressure, like e.g. B. changing line thickness or even color based on pressure applied, this pen won't do that. I uploaded an image using the same brush with the same settings for both Apple Pencil and this one. You can see that the Apple Pencil adds a lot more character to the brush strokes than the regular one. It also turns off a lot during use. At first I thought the battery was just dead, but after a few hours of charging it still randomly turns off.
