Solid, concerningly solid

Yessh. So I put these on my downhill bike. With a hammer, will theycome off when I inevitably need a new break piston (long story) nobody knows. I'll tell yah what tho, two pretty knarly downhill days and these things didn't budge. If you can get em on your bike, I'll promise you tow things, they'll make your bike look super cool and fast and they're are NOT commin off with you making it happen.PS: fairly sure my handlebars have a smaller inner diameter than most handlebars

Pros
  • I love these, exactly what I needed, fit perfectly and really easy to install.
Cons
  • The end plugs can fall off during rides if not installed properly

Great looking a little pricey

These things are great so much better than the plastic things that came on my bike kinda expensive for what they are but look great.

Pros
  • Fit perfectly on my Giant road cycle. Easy to install. Recommended!
Cons
  • The price of the handlebar end plugs may be too high compared to similar products on the market

Bar end plugs. They work.

They are bar end plugs, they plug the bars as advertised. The only thing that bugged me is the blue does not match the blue of my Wake stem, they are darker. Used on Acekit Jessica bars.

Pros
  • Got this for what it supposed to do and it does it perfectly well.
Cons
  • Nice product

Cheap and Easy aesthetic upgrade for your MTB.

These caps look good, fit good, and are a few steps above the plastic caps. It's really one of the cheapest aesthetic upgrades you can make to your bike, right behind colored zip ties. Give me a try!

Pros
  • Can be easily removed if necessary to clean or replace other handlebar components
Cons
  • The product may not be universally compatible with all bike brands and models

Fit snuggly with no falling out

These work perfectly! I prefer the bar-end-plugs that have an expansion anchor like these. The plastic plugs that come included with most bar tape never seem to stay in for me. I have only one complaint about these: and it’s that the hex screw is made of a very soft metal. Be careful not to strip the hex head when you tighten them. Safe Riding!

Pros
  • Constructed with rubber, sponge and aluminum. Durable and high quality.
Cons
  • The end plugs may not provide any significant improvement to the riding experience

Nice add on: my feedback

It fit perfectly on my mountain bike's new handlebars. I've read a few reviews about fitment but found it to slide in without any issues. I did keep in mind the wedged design and pushed on the bolt rather than the end cap. ID is about 18.40mm (0.7245") which can be compressed a bit more. I got the plastic down to 0.65". If you go by the product description it may be a tight fit going down to 0.62".

Pros
  • Suit for Mountain bike, road bike, folding bike, fixie, let the hole of handlebar have something filled.
Cons
  • The color options may not appeal to all riders

Simple But Functional

I had to completely remove the screws and gently tap them in. After adjusting them, I do not believe they are going anywhere. The bar ends also add a couple of style points. I would buy these again.

Pros
  • They were a little darker blue than pictured but that worked out great for me quality is really good
Cons
  • The rubber sponge material of the handlebar end plugs can deteriorate quickly

Great caps best in my review

Great handlebar caps, fits perfect on my Giant handlebar, looks good, great handlebar precision. I would love it was able on orange color, but it looks good.

Pros
  • Fits most bicycle models, including road bikes, mountain bikes, and BMX bikes
Cons
  • The end plugs may not be able to handle exposure to UV rays or extreme heat

Looks much better than plastic bar ends

Exactly what I expected. Easy to install. Looks great, very professional. My only complaint is that I wish it didn't have any writing on it and was just solid black, but it seems like similar items from other companies are the same.

Pros
  • Lightweight design does not add any significant weight or bulk to your bike
Cons
  • The end plugs may cause discomfort to riders with gripping issues, such as arthritis

Low Cost and Does the job

I got these to replace the cheap plastic caps that came with my silicon handle bar grips. Not much to say other then they were easy to install and do the job they are intended for.

Pros
  • Fits great on my mountain bike! looks good and seems to hold up well.
Cons
  • The end plugs may not provide enough grip on the handlebars, leading to slippage

Looks Good & Easy To Install

What’s really to say about bar end plugs? They were very easy to install. Felt very solid when doing so. They look great. How do they perform? Hopefully I don’t have to edit this review one day to report, or worse yet, my wife has to edit it to report how they failed. If you have uncovered, unprotected handle bar ends, get a pair of these Bar End Plugs & save yourself from some pain.

Pros
  • Prevents dirt, debris, and moisture from entering the handlebar tubes and causing damage or rust
Cons
  • The end plugs may not be lightweight, adding unnecessary weight to the bike

A bit too expensive

I use these with my mountain bikes. They are easy to install and look good. But I find myself replacing them often as they don't survive some of my crashes, which I guess is ok. But when you start replacing $9 plugs 4-5 times in one year it starts adding up. So before I decided to go with more heavy duty plugs I found some very similar to these on a famous Chinese marketplace where they cost $1.5 each. That's a lot less and I really can't tell the difference. So I got a bunch of those and I…

Pros
  • Installed easy
Cons
  • The end plugs may be challenging to remove for riders who want to change their handlebar setup

Great bar ends! best in my review

They look great and are very easy to install. They stick out a few millimeters which should help keep any potential damage contained to just the bar ends. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BOLTS. These don’t need to be super tight, just snug enough to not fall out over bumps and drops.

Pros
  • They fit snug in the handlebars. Look nice!
Cons
  • The product may not improve the bike's performance or comfort in any significant way

Customize the installation

Both bolts came out of the plastic retainer upon tightening them into my handlebars. After this obvious piss off, I decided to do something a little crazy then just returning and waiting forever to get new ones. I turned the plastic retainers around so that the bolt was being held in place in a much more secure position. I realize this makes the plug itself not as snug as it was but with the bolt no longer about to come out, you can tighten down the plugs even more and make up for the snugness…

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The end plugs may make it difficult to attach accessories to the handlebars

Will fit on Aluminum Bars

I had several pair of various bar ends that I had acquired over the years from being paired with grips etc. None of them would fit my aluminum MTB bars (especially when I cut the aluminum bars and it made the end of the bar opening a bit smaller.) These worked perfectly and did the trick… plus they look great. No complaints.

Pros
  • good looking end bars ,the impotent thing that at cant fall since comes with screw
Cons
  • The product may not provide enough shock absorption for rough terrain

Installs in minutes with a hex key

The end caps are a little thiner than I had expected from looking at the photo. I was expecting a thicker end cap like the ones on the old Peugeot UO-8 bicycles like I had in the 1970's. That said, the Wake end caps are easy to install in about two minutes, they give a nice snug fit that won't accidentally pop out if your bike tips over or snags when you're loading or unloading from your car, and they look great. I'm very pleased with mine and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a…

Pros
  • Grips
Cons
  • The product may not be customizable to match individual style preferences

Look Good and Stay In

I had been using the plastic bar ends that come with the handle bar tape - the ones that simply push in. Those are okay bur have the tendency to fall out it your bike handle bars brushes again anything. These fit in the bar ends, and then you tighten them with an Allen wrench until they are snug. Not only do the look better than the other kind, they will not fall out.

Pros
  • Fixes the cheap plastic plugs that fall out.
Cons
  • The end plugs may not be able to withstand heavy impact or forceful riding

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cleans up the ends of the bars

Cleans up the ends of the bars nicely. Stay in place better than the stock friction-fit rubber plugs. Weigh a few grams more though, so not for weight watchers.

Pros
  • Installed easily on my bar ends. Look great and fit as expected.
Cons
  • The product may not be able to fit all bike handlebar widths

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Definitely blue and NOT turquoise.

Gotta take one off for the color. It’s blue for sure, but the online image looks like turquoise which is what I wanted. Not the blue I’m after.

Pros
  • Very easy to install and the finish seems to hold up so far.
Cons
  • The end plugs may not provide enough protection to the handlebars in case of a crash or fall

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well made, but blue color did not match their bars

Well made, easy to install, but the blue color was more of a royal blue instead of the lighter frost blue of their handle bars, which I bought to match. I find this odd as they are both wake products. If you are buying to match the blue color of their handle bars, don’t waste your money on these.

Pros
  • They look nice easy to install
Cons
  • The rubber sponge material can become slippery when wet, causing safety concerns
