I'm converted to adjustables now.

First time I've ever (had to) use screw adjustable end caps. Always the default had worked - until now. The defaults I got with a new handlebar tape and new handlebar, replaced after a crash, were too loose. These worked great.

Pros
  • Great look and high quality.
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with bikes with unique handlebar designs

Nice! Be sure to check your depth though.

Perfect to hide your starting wraps on bicycle racing bars. That said, I bought these before my MTB riser bars arrived and after cutting the bar ends 1/2", I discovered that the bars wall thickness doubled. The bar caps would not seat all the way in, so I plan to use them on my road bike project. Very nice finish and construction make these a bargain. Thanks!

Pros
  • Easy to install.
Cons
  • The product may not be durable enough to handle regular use

cool looking units for my opinion

These look cool at the ends of the handlebars, nice way to have a finished look if you add bar ends, or just have chewed up grips.

Pros
  • fits my bike perfectly and has a strong holdxre
Cons
  • The color options are limited and may not match the color of the bike

Great plugs for a solid price

2nd type of metal bar plugs I've used. The other ones had a disc- shaped rubber insert that was squeezed when you tighten the plug, and had a hard time gripping the edges of the tape to keep it neat looking. These have more of a wedge design, so they look like they're holding the tape in place better, and are definitely easier to install.

Pros
  • Good bar ends..maybe a bit small..dont fully cover the bar end
Cons
  • The product may not be easy to find in stores or online

A must have! good for me

These worked out perfect for my handlebars on my road bike. I lost one and my handlebar tape didn’t seem secure enough but when I installed these everything tightened up great and was a perfect fit. It only took about 2 minutes to take out the old plastic plugs and install these.

Pros
  • Hit with a tree on a crash and they didn’t even scratch
Cons
  • The end plugs may not be able to hold up against wear and tear caused by long rides

Good enough to get you by

Not very wide on the ends. Only covered up the bar but didn’t extend pass or even to the grips so dirt always got in between the grips and bar

Pros
  • Quantity: 2 Counts, Outer Diameter: 24mm, Inside Diameter: 16mm. Suit for handlebar inside diameter >=17mm(more than 17mm).
Cons
  • The end plugs may not be removable, making it challenging to switch out grips

Fits inside narrow ID handlebars

I replaced the handlebars on my mountain bike with bars that are a little more beefy. To maintain the same outside diameter (OD), the inside diameter (ID) is smaller than typical. Other plugs simply would not fit, but these worked like a charm. I added a drop of thread locker during installation, so 4 stars instead of 5.

Pros
  • Parts & Components
Cons
  • The end plugs may require constant adjustments due to looseness or slippage

Well made. High quality

I installed them and they look awesome. I did a three day mountain bike trip this weekend and they held in there no problem.

Pros
  • Protects your bike and reduces wear and tear on the handlebars in case of drops or impacts
Cons
  • The product may not be aesthetically pleasing to some riders

Fit right inside the bar as advertised and The Snug up very nice with the Allen screw. Add that small detail that makes the bicycle stand out.

Pros
  • Handsome, Lightweight, Clean.
Cons
  • The product may not be value for money compared to other bike parts

1000 miles and haven't lost one yet

I vastly prefer the screw-in bar ends to the simple push in ones, so happy to find them in a matching color. No complaints, no loosening, haven't lost one yet in the first 1000 miles

Pros
  • Easy to install on a scooter and durable on my scooter
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with some bike models

Easy install. good for me

Quick and easy install. The tiny bits that spread out to lock the cap in place seem brittle but I'll see how it is months from now. Nice hex bolt so there's minimal stripping.

Pros
  • Bueno
Cons
  • The end plugs may not be able to handle extreme weather conditions

Went in and fastined easily. Have not slipped.

These are so much better design than the push-in handlebar ends. Every other type I have tried has fallen out or been poorly made and break. I expect these to last the life of my bike.

Pros
  • These were recommended in a thread at BikeForums.net and well worth the modest cost.
Cons
  • The bike handlebar end plugs may not fit properly on some bikes

Good bar ends at a great price

Work perfect as a replacement for my son's bike. He destroyed the rubber grips that came of the bike so we swapped those out and added these to make sure the grips don't slip off. I can say these can take a beating. He likes the color too.

Pros
  • Broke easily
Cons
  • The aluminum material can be heavier than other materials used in handlebar end plugs

Great product best in my review

Took a nasty spill first time out with these in the bars, took a hard hit and took it like a champ, glad I got them Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Bought this purely for aesthetics. makes the bike look more expensive. I would buy them again.
Cons
  • The end plugs may not fit snugly on the handlebars, causing discomfort

Too loose for Roadbike handbag ends

So so product. Doesn’t fit tightly into the handlebar ends of my road bike. I’ve had to add tape to thicken it - not great. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Gives your bike that little extra touch
Cons
  • The rubber sponge material can absorb dirt and grime, causing unsightliness
