Olympus VN2100 Digital Voice Recorder: Capture Clear and Crisp Audio Anywhere Review

I like this recorder because it's small and easy to use. My 10 year old daughter also loves it for messages. we even recorded her school concert with it! (The only problem is that the battery drains very quickly!) Great price!

Voice quality is worse than expected. The supplied batteries were rusted and unusable. The item must have been on the shelf for a long time. The battery life seems to be very short.

This recorder does exactly what it says on the product description. The "high quality" recording mode is excellent. I use it to record short, structured meetings. If there are five or six simultaneous conversations, forget it. For ALL batteries, I can't speak to alkaline battery life. Files are transferred to a PC in real time. I would have preferred faster file transfers, but I knew what I was buying. In general, a pretty decent registrar.

While these days you can record your voice with any number of electronic devices, from phones to PDAs, the Olympus VN2100 far outperforms most DIYers. Devices. The small form factor, user-friendly controls, and simple file structure make the VN2100 the best tool I've found for capturing important audio moments. This was a great digital voice recorder. It's easy to use and I quickly got used to the features, so I was able to shoot even in the dark.
