Review on Olympus VN2100 Digital Voice Recorder: Capture Clear and Crisp Audio Anywhere by Fredrick Edwards

I finally found a small pocket voice recorder that I can use without having to read lots of manuals. It's small, but the buttons are large enough to be easy to find and press. I used it all Christmas time to record my grandchildren's voices. You grow up so fast. But I digress. Yesterday I took it with me on a trip to the beach with my wife. As we passed billboards along the way, I jotted down phone numbers and descriptions of properties for sale and rental. While we were looking at some vacation rentals for a possible vacation spot this summer, I wrote down our first impressions as we toured the beach houses and condos/apartments. This made things easier when, after getting in the car, we had questions about which rooms had king beds and which rooms had smaller beds etc. It would have been too difficult to write all these comments on paper. Other than that, the recorder works as advertised and you can start using it right away without having to read a lot of instructions. That's the part I like. The battery life is also very good. I still drive with the original batteries.
