I love this thing! I won't go into all the details, but other than what the packaging/description says, I like that it's silicone-free. It's not that silicone is bad for my skin, but in a moisturizer it doesn't do much more than provide less lubricity than use more oils and fatty acids, which alone provide lubricity. It says it's scented with natural geranium essential oil, but don't worry if you can't stand the smell of geraniums. It is a rather mild, faint, almost brown sugar scent. It's not the smell of stems and leaves. It's so faint that if I hadn't been told it was scented on purpose I would have just assumed it was odorless. A decent jar for the price, much cheaper than other face creams I've used. I used to use Welleda Calendula Baby Face Lotion but it's so greasy by comparison. Desert Essence is lightweight and absorbs directly into the skin without leaving a sticky residue or oily finish. I use it in the evening and in the morning after cleansing. I will continue to use this until they stop using it or drastically change the formula.
