Versatile and lasted me years

I bought this bag in 2016 and hauled it all over town and for national and international travel weighed down with electronics and books. The zipper finally split last year (totally my fault), and I'm finally buying a new one in case mine completely fails. I walk a lot with my laptop, papers, and books because I'm a freelancer and work from libraries and coffee shops. The bag has been more comfortable than almost anything else I've tried, and I've been impressed with its resilience from all I've put it through.

Pros

COMPATIBILITY: Fits laptops, chromebooks, tablets, macbooks, netbooks, notebooks up to 15 Inches.

Cons

The backpack's exterior pockets, though spacious, lack any sort of zip or closure, making it less secure for users concerned about theft

This was the second Brenthaven backpack I purchased despite the first''s having only lasted two years (but with hard use). This one is defective. All of the velcro closures have failed (the velcro itself is OK but the sewing to the bag has failed). This is a problem because neither the phone flap nor the exterior large compartment will stay closed. I''ll keep using it until it''s really shot, but I won''t buy another one.
