I have a mobile phone that doesn't support Bluetooth well (Pixel 2) and since I have to make a lot of calls to clients, I was looking for a wired headset that would connect to my phone. with an adapter or without it. But the only thing that comes with it is headphones, which I can't stand in my ears. I already had a headset with a mic which I mainly use for transcription and web conferencing - why not? That's when I realized that the headset has 2 ports (audio and microphone). So I looked for a splitter (2 plugs to 1). It worked great! I still have to use the adapter that came with my phone since the USB-C slot (thanks Apple for bringing THIS idea to the market) but it works so well. My voice is clear to those I speak to and I can clearly hear what they are talking about. Great value for money and I don't need to shell out maybe $$$ for a brand new headset.
