So I think my son uses it. If I consider it an exercise vibrating toothbrush then it's ok. On the plus side it's the right size for my 2.5, it has a small bristle head and good thickness for him to grab and maneuver. He likes lights. This has gotten him used to using a "noisy" toothbrush so I may be able to switch him to a true sonic toothbrush. I think it's good that an additional toothbrush head is included. The Bad: The head doesn't really vibrate like it's doing anything at all. The whole toothbrush shakes/vibrates, but it's not a "noise" in any way. Fur: When we first got it, he didn't like how noisy it was, but he got used to it (we had him plucking with his toothbrush, he uses it, and it spins more now than before) overall , this is a good practice brush to get used to using a vibrating toothbrush, but I have no illusions that it works better than a manual toothbrush.
