Fits PERFECTLY on my huge Tamron 300mm f/2.8

This is the best lens case I could find for my huge old Tamron 300mm f/2.8 telephoto lens (Sony Minolta mount). It can hold a full lens with the long hood or with the hood up (making the lens compact for travel/storage). It even fits my Sony Nex-6 mirrorless camera with the large LA-EA4 adapter. This way I can use it to hold both the lens and the camera. Much better because I don't want to take more than one bag with me when I'm scrambling through thickets or terrain to photograph a family of foxes with kittens, for example. The specific Thinktank equivalent lens case (great) doesn't fit this lens with the lens hood out, and I think (not sure) the diameter doesn't match either. , at least for the specific application of my lens. This case comes with a handy, thickly padded pouch that wraps around the thinner end of the lens. I love this bag/lens case. BTW, because it's so snug (nice!) when taking the lens out of the case, especially when the camera is on, I turn the case upside down or at an angle to allow gravity to help the entire lens or lens Extend along with the camera instead of grabbing, pulling or twisting the lens or lens + camera to pull them out. Also, my neoprene lens hood, which is worn around the lens and in front, stays in the housing when removed due to friction. not just "hope", that's right. In my opinion that is correct, but use your own distinction. Quality and durability appear to be excellent. Great for storing a lens or even with a camera and maybe good to use those silica gel based humidifiers that add value by keeping the lens dry and preventing fungus etc. Great purchase!

Pros

Cons
