A simple wireless controller that works well and is easy to set up. Until you need directions that don't exist. Just connect one or two BLDC motors and spin the motor to turn it on. You don't need to connect a switch at all as it turns on when the motor is spinning and turns off when not in use for a few minutes. The wireless control is good, a little more sensitive than I would like, but it works well. Regenerative braking also works well. The fact that you can reverse on the fly is a cool feature. I ran it 10 miles up and down steep hills on an electric dirt board I built, and the entire unit felt cool, which implies decent build quality. I'm running this at 36V, however the capacitors are 63V which means you can go even beyond the maximum recommended voltage of 48V, but I've yet to try that. All in all, this single unit replaced the 2 motor controllers I was using in a much smaller package. My only concern is that when one motor slips due to poor traction compared to the other motor, the controls seem a bit confused and power is periodically reduced on both until they are spinning at roughly the same speed. Not a big problem, but it does get your attention.
