Change the strips, a little expensive for small shelves.
4 inches smaller than I thought they were a bit pricey for a small for some reason. The bigger one seems more advantageous, so I might take it. The velcro isn't strong enough to stick and won't stick to my wall so I replaced that velcro with one that holds about 12 pounds and has intertwined strands and they stick and stick much better. Shelves work well for a small window plant or small items. If you are getting these and don't want your items to break I would recommend heavier strips for them. Otherwise easy installation. I bought similar ones from Ikea for about $6 and they need to be drilled to make them easier to install. Hopefully the stronger strips will hold up.
