I first bought this rug about 3 years ago when my then little daughter was just starting to take a bath. She loved it and it worked great. I really like that it covers most of the bottom of the tub and that you don't have to constantly stick it to the tub (like those non-slip stickers). As long as you let it air out after each use (we hang it on a hanger by the hole in the tail) there won't be a problem with mold. After about two and a half years, however, the plastic began to lose its elasticity, and by the age of three, it cracked and was no longer sticking to the bottom of the tub. I feel like 3 years of use was pretty good for what I paid; Nothing is forever. So I ordered the same rug again because overall I really liked it and couldn't find anything to improve it.
