Review on 💡 gofanco Prophecy Intelligent 4K HDMI 1x4 Splitter - Auto Scaling, HDCP 2.2, 18Gbps - 4 Port, 1 In 4 Out by Bill Pool

I needed a splitter to split the signal from my Nvidia Shield to my Samsung TV and Vizio soundbar. It had to support 4K HDR as well as Dolby ATMOS and DTS. Some reviews suggested that Dolby ATMOS was supported, but when I got this splitter I didn't get ATMOS. I emailed tech support and Steve told me they could create custom firmware that would support ATMOS. He called me and we talked on the phone for an hour and a half trying to work things out. By playing around with the DIP switch settings we were able to get Dobly ATMOS AND HDR. Although this splitter is a bit more expensive, it works with the latest technologies (4K HDR, Dolby ATMOS, DTS). For your information, if you need Dolby ATMOS, please update the firmware to the latest version on GoFanco website and set the DIP switches to On-. Off-Off-On (Bottom-Top-Top-Bottom). Ignore the documentation. As many reviewers have said, GoFanco's technical support is top notch.
