We bought a new 2003 4runner and needed a USB charger. I wanted to go with something that came from OEM/stock and found this charger. I decided to add an extra circuit and disconnected the 10A cigarette lighter socket. Wiring was easy, I found a floor under my console and hid the wires to keep everything tidy. The USB charging case only fits in the connector on the right side of the driver, which is why I chose that location. As some have pointed out, the charger is shinier than the stock panels, which didn't bother me enough to make me want to paint my face. Also, as mentioned, the built-in fuse on the wiring harness is poorly installed. I ended up excluding it from the schematic because the charger didn't work at first - after removing it, it worked like a champ. I'll keep an eye out for bright blue lights when driving at night - some have mentioned this. they can distract. It seems like a solid product and a great option for those who need to upgrade their vehicle charging options.
