Fits my FJ Cruiser perfectly. I connected it all the way to the battery so it can be charged while the car is off. I also opened up the device and turned off the two LED lights to keep from constantly draining the battery. I recommend sanding the gloss black finish with 320 grit sandpaper and then applying some oil to it to match the rest of the FJ. Looks great! Very happy with the overall look and quality.

Bought two of these, first installed on a Toyota FJ Cruiser today. Before installing I removed the cover and applied 3-4 coats of Flat Black spray paint to it to match the dash. Light sanding between coats. The blue LED doesn't bother me so I left it. Installation was quick. BUT it will not charge or charge my Garmin Nuvi 1500 which was the intent of putting this charger where I did. It will power my GoPro.

I don't know why it was shiny. Doesn't match the car at all. The description also doesn't say anything about the bright blue LEDs inside, which also doesn't match anything in the car. I took it apart and found two separate boards inside. There was zero volts at the input of one and about two volts at the other. I think they should have included a bit more hardware, connectors and connector recommendations. What I don't like is that the plastic strips in the USB ports are opposite each other. I would try to fix it myself if the switch on the dash was easier to access. This USB port looks nice in my '08 4Runner. It was very easy to install on the center console of my SR5 4Runner where there are a few empty slots for the switches. The panel slides out very easily. This can be seen in several online videos. The USB ports are plugged right in, and I connected them to a 12V power line right in front.
