So I bought this to use on road trips - my 1.5 year old son hates road trips. He likes to play with it a bit, but that's just him. I think when he gets a little older and understands better how to use it to the fullest, it will be better for him. It has so many things to keep a child's hands busy. Kids can learn a lot from this toy - how to tell the time, tie shoelaces, count to ten with beads (although I have both 6 and 7 beads out of 7 lol) and there are velcro fingers to teach counting how to do it attached and uses a zipper. In general, an interesting educational toy for children.
