I ordered them for Thanksgiving in Turkey but I've already used 3 in the last 2 days! I had a lot of liver and other internal organs that I cooked for dog food, which I usually cook outside in my giant brazier because of the horrible smell. Since it was raining and snowing and I had to get everything ready, I decided to smell these bags! The package contained a liver smell and my house didn't smell. They're also the perfect fix for my corned beef and cabbage, which usually stinks around my house for a few days. The liver was very tender because it was cooked in pouches. It's not that my dogs don't like the texture of the meat, but liver is usually so chewy that it's difficult to shred in a food processor. I pulled whole plants out of the ground just before it started snowing. I used to use trash bags for this in the past, but these bags are food safe. I hope they extend the life of my celery. I'll be experimenting with pan coating when I make my next batch of chicken broth. It doesn't say you can use it for cooking, but I'll try. This is a game changer in broth making!
