The 1/4 " universal joint with detent is not fixed.

The 1/4" universal joint will not snap into any of my outlets. Have had 1/4" with the Tried the following brands: Craftsman, Harbor Freight, Carlyle, Koken, Metrinch, Gearwrench and MAC. 3/8 and 1/2 still seem to work, although some heads have a very loose fit. I am a service mechanic in the food industry, if you are looking for something professional or high quality I would turn them down.
