Great idea and overall effect. However, there are a few things that stop me from recommending them. First, because the processor controls the operation, if you cut power (like a switch or PIR) they will flash at full power for a moment before returning to the program. That means you're either stuck with the remote to turn it on and off, or momentarily blinded as the device turns on. The second issue is the length of the cut, or the length between sections that you can cut. Compared to most quality LEDs, that length is insane. This results in very sloppy installation, twists, etc., as well as using more length than the project requires. Neither can be a problem for you, in this case that's great! But if you want a clean install and instant use of features, there are better and cheaper options.
