The main reason I ordered this LED strip was the high brightness advertised - it's really bright and just what I need to light up a small space. I installed two strips in a recess in the ceiling and they give great indirect light that is easy to control with a remote control. The only disappointment is a slight delay when I turn on the wall switch before the light comes on. I'm used to it now.

Firstly I am not a licensed electrician. I was able to put light strips under our kitchen cabinets. There is little natural light in our kitchen, so this device came in very handy. It was easy to install and I was able to connect the lights behind the fridge so no wires were showing, a must have for the wife! I bought a SMART Plug so we can control the light with a remote control, a phone app or with ALEXA. impresses my wife, friends and me! This product comes highly recommended

I spent hours installing the first lighting under my bed. After completion, the light just flashes. I had it replaced and I installed a second set of lights. I left the light on the entire time I installed it. After I was done, I kept them for about 3 hours. They are beautiful. I turned them off and went to bed. Tried to get her back last night. Very easy to install and looks great. I placed them behind my entertainment center for the atmosphere. I gave it one star, but this issue only affects certain installations. I connected them to a Philips Hue plug so I can turn them on and off via the Hue app. The problem is that every time I plug in and power is restored to the light strip, it immediately flashes at full white brightness, then turns off, then comes back on at the brightness and color it was last powered on. Great idea and overall effect. However, there are a few things that stop me from recommending them. First, because the processor controls the operation, if you cut power (like a switch or PIR) they will flash at full power for a moment before returning to the program. That means you're either stuck with the remote to turn it on and off, or momentarily blinded as the device turns on. Everything is fine with these flashlights except the remote control. For some reason the remote is draining the batteries in a way you won't believe. After three CR2032 batteries, I finally learned to keep the battery out of the remote. I bought these to create an even ceiling light in my basement and they did a very good job. I used glue on the back of the strips to attach them to the panels and then screwed those panels to the ceiling and they held up well. I got them on purpose because they were the longest length in Tunable White for the price. And they exceeded expectations.
