Very easy to install and looks great. I placed them behind my entertainment center for the atmosphere. I gave it one star, but this issue only affects certain installations. I connected them to a Philips Hue plug so I can turn them on and off via the Hue app. The problem is that every time I plug in and power is restored to the light strip, it immediately flashes at full white brightness, then turns off, then comes back on at the brightness and color it was last powered on. I'm glad it remembers its previous state, but I could do without the instantaneous flash when I turn it on. It's quite confusing in a quiet, low-light environment. Keep that in mind if you plan on routing this through a smart plug.
