Ideal for awnings where you don't have sockets. Should be covered and dried. Also a great travel idea, I've been to a few places that didn't have outlets and they were very convenient. I have a style that is just an outlet and you can't screw the light back in. So it can be seen*, so it's a much better solution. Not for large power needs, but it works for phone or battery. And with two outlets, you can charge both.
