Beautiful and well suited for my small basement. I actually only use it in addition to our central heating. So I haven't even tried the high temp mode other than just turning it on and making sure it works. heating ventilation. This is of course not surprising, since the rest of the basement around my room is completely undeveloped and not connected to the heating system. The fire burns all night, every night, whether I burn that long or not. And I've kept low heat all night, several nights. But most of the time I just turn the heating on a few hours before bed. And of course I turned everything off before I went to work. It works almost noiselessly, only with a flame effect. And in addition to the minimal noise of the fan, it is also very quiet with heaters. What I like best is that the tops and outsides don't get hot. So if I hit him too close or my cat jumps on him, we don't get burned. My room is no bigger than a normal bedroom, so that's important. And underneath there is enough space so that the carpet does not heat up. I was pretty paranoid the first day, so I checked it about every 30 minutes for the first few hours, and then every hour for the next few hours. The area of the device around the heater got quite warm (don't let anything get directly on the bottom of the device!). But the carpet never really seemed to change temperature, not much. what it looks like"burn". That is beautiful. And it's really nice not to worry about smoke and embers. Ha ha. And since I have a Japanese style bed on the floor, it's the perfect height to lay and enjoy. I can't wait for my boyfriend to come home so we can cuddle up to him. ;-) Since it cost close to $200, I bought a Square Trade guarantee in case there were any problems with this device in the future. But I hope this continues. :-)
