This saddle soap is the best leather cleaner I have ever used, bar none. However, to get the most out of it, you must ignore the instructions that prevent excessive foaming. I have found the opposite to be the case. For what it's worth my advice is to use a thoroughly damp cloth, apply lots of lather and rub it in until the dirt and stains are gone. Then lay the leather piece on a flat surface, blot away any excess suds or water with a towel and allow the product to dry naturally. This can take hours or even days. But the results will reward your patience.
