Overall I'm impressed with this and find it useful - it's so good to finally have a light with no 'aiming' issues. The articulation means you can place it exactly where you want, and of course small movements of your head can focus on everything. For my old eyes, the light is *just* enough for reading, but could be a lot brighter. Not recommended as the primary light source for detail work - at least not with one. I'm ordering a second lamp so I can have one for each ear, which should be enough. The construction feels solid and the device is very light - I forget about it until I can reach to turn it on. The clip is wide and strong enough to securely attach to my 3mm thick plastic frames. I ride my bike with this thing and I'm not worried about it falling off. In addition to a good reading lamp or work lamp, it is perfect for getting up in the middle of the night without having to turn on all the lights :)
