Bought two flashlights for glasses for a friend who is severely visually impaired and blind but can see objects or read up close for short periods of time... these lights helped her see a little better with glasses, her condition continued to deteriorate, so the light can only be judged on all parameters, provided the lights were advertised and worked well.

This is my fourth reading lamp in bed. Two clips and a tablet lamp. None worked well. They were either too heavy or clumsy for the job. night owl works. Easily attaches to my glasses, both thick rimmed and wire framed. The light is soft but bright enough. Just close pages. It's easy to adjust the direction of the light. And the throw is amazing - an easy throw of at least fifteen feet. It would be good for working on small details or walking a dark path. Very important. Good product. Nick

I am a nail designer and was hoping this product would work for me as an extra spot light on my nails. It's just not bright enough. I hardly saw any change in lighting. However, it is very light on my glasses. I didn't even feel it there. And I love the fact that it's rechargeable, which saves time and money changing batteries. I'm sure this will work great for someone who likes to read in bed and doesn't want the whole room lit up. It's just not for me.

My glasses frames are made from fairly light recycled plastic and after knocking the bulb out once in the first week the bulb has stayed in place ever since, even after being knocked off the table several times onto the carpet. Also goes well with my glasses that I use in my workshop. I've only had to charge it once in the 6 weeks I've been using it, although this may change as I get used to using the light and use it more often. My only gripe, and that didn't make me downgrade the star rating,

Loved it. It was a nice bright light and I kept it on my watch as a fancy wrist flashlight. I bought another to have a second light on my watch to extend the range. But then the first one I got stopped working; The light does not burn by itself. I have to hold down the button. I fully charged the battery but the problem persisted. Only used three times. I'm waiting for the second one in the mail. At the moment I use a rubber band to hold the button down when I use the first button. Really great

Overall I'm impressed with this and find it useful - it's so good to finally have a light with no 'aiming' issues. The articulation means you can place it exactly where you want, and of course small movements of your head can focus on everything. For my old eyes, the light is *just* enough for reading, but could be a lot brighter. Not recommended as the primary light source for detail work - at least not with one. Yes, no more headlamp, keychain, flashlight, flashlight. This is the most amazing light ever, I have 2 of these and 1 pair of glasses each. They're so light you'll even forget they're on, yet they're securely attached so you don't lose them.
