Cute, but my kids have blisters

My kid liked the cute blue and red clogs but unfortunately they caused blisters on the sides of the foot where the strap attached to the shoe every time she put them on. For us, this is a return to a famous brand. However, he has very narrow feet. In terms of size, we followed other reviews and ordered a size smaller. They barely fit in length so it was probably the right choice but I would say the sizing is half the advertised.
