Live in the Northeast and bought these for the winter.The good:1.WARM, Sherpa lining is thick and good quality.2.Outer shell isn’t water repellent but more resistant. He can wear them in the snow and rain for about an hour before they truly begin to absorb it.The bad:1. Small. Bought the largest size and barely fit 38 inch waist. Tight through waist to thigh.2. Short. If your inseam is above 31, you’d be pushing it.3. Take FOREVER to dry. At least a full 12-18 hours and can’t be put in the dryer. I have to hang them inside out and when the Sherpa is dried, I turn them right side and have to wait about few hours.
