It hurts too often because my lower back arches too high and puts pressure on my butt. It fills that gap with the perfect amount of squeezing and hopefully crushes the pain. Even when I sleep on my side it provides perfect support so I don't feel like tipping over if I'm not prepared. Brilliant. I've been looking for something like this for at least 10 years.
