This is a sturdy and super functional product. The clamps are strong and easy to install. I'm not sure it will actually hold 10 lb though.I installed my baskets in a weird way, because my desk has this super wide bar underneath (see 2nd photo). Because of the desk, I couldn't have the cord shelf underneath facing inward. So instead I rotated it 90° and put the clamps on the bottom.it works pretty well! So if anyone has a weirdly shaped desk, know that this is pretty versatile.
