Review on Creality HALOT ONE 3D Intergral Filtering by Serena Scott

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great design and finish but very slow for a monochrome LCD printer

Love the thoughtful quality construction, the Creality slicer that can be printed from computer or phone, the easy upgrade, the good protected LCD, the new container design and worktop pre-calibrated! I bought it through Revain and they shipped it to the convention center 40 minutes from St.Louis and it arrived safely within 2 days! This gave me some time to unbox it just in time for the conference, where it printed successfully and consistently (except for a few details due to low exposure during calibration), which impressed a group of attendees who ordered their own. very slow (requires 6s exposure per 50u layer, while my Phrozen takes 2.3s). Maybe I'm stupid. Unlike traditional UV LED vapor lamps, Creality uses a COB cluster and carefully placed reflectors to achieve greater uniformity. Even if some LED elements in a COB go out, the light still stays consistent (albeit dimmer, which may be the reason). . problem with mine). I have 9 other MSLA printers for both production and evaluation, and this really is a winner if the light intensity issue can be improved (or found unique to me). There are minor issues with the software, but new software evolves and improves quickly and is fairly intuitive. This made calibration and fine tuning easier as it separates the exposure etc from the rest of the slicing. Unlike other popular software, I don't have to re-cut every time I need to adjust these settings. Mine is now owned by one of the conference sponsors who didn't mind the slightly slower speed because the level of detail was noticeably superior to the competition. This means I have to decide whether to order again myself based on what support says at the time of exposure.

Pros
  • HOME DEVELOPED LIGHT SOURCE
Cons
  • Some bugs
