Doesn't get moldy like regular sponge
I found that regular sponges are never dry enough unless I put them in the microwave with a sponge, the material is unique and stays fresh longer. I still change them every 8 weeks but it's longer than a regular sponge. When the water is hot, the sponge becomes very soft and can be used anywhere. The mouth hole is a great place to hang it up to dry out when not in use.
