Review on πŸŒͺ️ La Crosse Technology S83301-1 NOAA Weather Radio featuring Tornado ALERTS by Michael Burdette

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor sound quality, inability to delay NOAA transmissions between alerts, poor reception AM

As the title suggests, the speaker sound quality is below average compared to other NOAA weather radios. Not compared to FM quality but compared to other NOAA radio stations. Secondly, I was disappointed to find that it was not possible to snooze/mute the radio between NOAA alerts. When you're on the NOAA band, the incessant chatter will force you to turn off or change bands to stop the incessant chatter. This results in the radio being always on but in standby mode until alarmed. AM is useless for this radio.
