Review on πŸ”’ Kindergarten MathLink Learning Activities by Greg Bellman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Goes well with what they teach in kindergarten πŸ‘‘

This MathLink set is well suited for school lessons. They work on the concept of subitization, which is the ability to look at a set of objects and know a number. It reinforces this concept and builds on memory, pattern, bit depth, addition and subtraction. There are 15 cards, but they are double-sided. There is 1 answer card on the back, a total of 29 tasks. The blocks are multicolored and each side has a different shape: triangle, square, pentagon or hexagon. Blocks are joined together from the top, bottom and sides. It is easy for a child to fold or separate them. I appreciate the "fantastic" theme of this set. I hate to admit it, but my daughter would be less interested if it wasn't a princess/unicorn/fairy theme. I think as long as it makes you think critically, I agree!

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
