I bought this screen for my Raspberry Pi2 project. Thanks to the pins and HDMI port, this is a pretty solid setup. Some important points: 1) Can work as a normal HDMI display. Worked with my laptop. 2) Works mostly out of the box for Raspbian, just need to update config.txt for HDMI settings. 3) You can connect it to LCD or Pi board via USB port. However, depending on your power supply, you may get a low/low voltage warning. I got around this by connecting a USB cable to the USB ports on the Pi2 and the LCD through the same USB hub. This allowed the Pi2 voltage to be higher than the red line. DO NOT use two different power sources. BadThings(tm) can happen. 4) The touch screen worked well. I just used the download from the Elecrow website. The only problem is covering header pins. for which there is a breakthrough, you only need a SMD header.
