I keep leftovers in glass bowls with lids instead of plastic wrap. They're fully sealed and it's great for keeping the air out, BUT if they're ever hit lightly under the edge they'll come loose immediately, so they're not good for storing stuff that kids might need, or if they browse the room. A lot is done in the fridge. I find that I don't use them at all for that reason. It goes without saying that they have to be like this, as there is a suction effect when they come into contact with smooth surfaces. I can't use them on some of my bowls that have curled or not-so-smooth edges.
