Too much fun for parents and children.
My 5 year old son loved it and uses it almost every day for a week to find new "treasures". Maybe it's my fault that I enjoy helping him too much. Really amazing specimens, I was glad they have a fossil and mineral/gem combo set. An amazing homeschooling tool for the ages. Note. Don't expect a pattern on a clay tile to indicate which pattern types are on which half of the tile, they're all mixed together. I also recommend using the kit outside or having a large tray to work with, and even then it's better to have a mini vacuum handy.
