This water hose is very easy to assemble. I just recently learned that you should change all hoses every 3-5 years. I didn't know for sure and I don't want to go back to a flooded house. Our pipes behind our refrigerator are over 5 years old and made of plastic. I feel safer with this braided hose. These water pipes are under more pressure than in a typical household because they are smaller and have a smaller diameter than, for example, a washing machine hose. This means they are more prone to leaking and eventually breaking. I feel much more secure with this braided cord on my fridge's water line. I'm so glad a friend at work told me about them and I will definitely be buying them in the future.
