Some nice features, good value for money

I ordered this bag in the coffee version and I love the colour. I have a Think Tank camera bag and another good camera bag, but they are too big to fit in my suitcase, which is one of those ones that has a zippered divider between the suitcase halves. I was worried that if I kept tapping it lightly on the case and the other bag didn't fit, my think tank would warp or wear out. I wanted something more subtle that I can take with me when I travel. What I noticed about this Caden shoulder bag is that it had 2 straps at the bottom so I could attach a travel tripod. Since it doesn't look like a camera bag, I can use it as a carrying bag even without camera gear. I put a few drops of water on the bag and they beaded together so there is some water/rain protection for now. This bag has nice details that I will describe. I've uploaded some photos so you can see what I mean. Because they were taken with my phone in not the best lighting, the colors don't match the original. The straps appear to be cotton or blended fabrics, and the hardware is brass, or at least brass-colored and solid. Most of the seams are finished so they should stand up to use. Tailoring is neat. The buttons are on raised strips of leather, or you can slide your finger underneath to cover the buttons. Being non-magnetic is a plus for those worried about magnets around devices like hard drives and cards. The straps at the bottom of the bag are plastic snaps that can be opened and closed so I don't have to undo the straps like I did with my old backpack. The ends of the bottom straps have Velcro that wraps around the webbing to keep the ends from hanging down and potentially snagging or irritating. The front pocket is a simple sewn-on zippered pocket. There are no slots for organizers and sewn-in pockets. It is of course approximately 12 x 8 inches as the bag will be sewn, all measurements are approximate and will vary with sewing/stitching. There are external side pockets on each side of the bag, but they don't close with a zipper, just buttons. So be careful when using these bags so you don't store anything that might fall out. Inside is a free hanging inner pocket that attaches to the back of the bag, measures approximately 8 inches square and is zippered. All zippers are plastic, minimizing scratches on hardware. The inner pocket's small zip has a metal puller, the outer zips have a leather puller. The shoulder strap is adjustable and I can wear it over my shoulder which is my favorite. The removable inner divider has 2 velcro dividers that you can use or not use and position as you wish. The spacer foam is quite thick and strong, so it should protect your camera gear quite well. I placed my camera in the baffle with an 85mm lens attached and another 50mm lens and had no issues with the fit. The camera is Sony mirrorless, so it's a bit smaller than a DSLR. The lenses are full frame G-Master lenses so they are quite heavy and fit perfectly. There were small stains on the fabric but since they were in the front pocket and there was only one small not too noticeable stain on the front flap I decided it wasn't a big deal. The only change I would make would be a top zip with two pull tabs that open from the center, because then it doesn't matter which side you wear the bag on. Final verdict, winner for price and features, so has to give 5 stars. The cost was much less than my other camera bags and while they are of better quality and will undoubtedly last longer than this Caden bag, I love the look of the bag and the nice touches like raised leather straps, lower straps, plastic zippers, etc. I can pack it in my suitcase.
