Review on πŸ“ Taylor Seville Originals Comfort Grip Quilting Regular Magic Pins - Sewing and Quilting Supplies - Sewing Notions - 50 Pack by Nicole Mcleod

Great grip, bad tip

I love the grip of these pens. But. Although the fabric is punctured normally, it is immediately tightened. After immediate contact with the fabric, the needle resisted. The other reviewer was right about the ridges. Traces of a lathe are visible at the ends of the pins. (Hopefully you can see in the photo what isn't the best due to the close-up focus.) Like the point of a pin is tapered, the metal is rough. The new Taylor pen shows a definite difference in top quality compared to my old and used glass head pen. I have used on cotton. The grips are great for my large fingertips, but the "action" of the pens is like cheap scrap metal. They are also thicker and longer than regular pins, which can affect their use in very fine fabrics.
