Thank you for the updated replacement pedal for my Singer 401A sewing machine. It works great and gives my car a real performance boost. It took quite a bit of jiggling to attach it to the car's body for the knee controls to properly depress this new pedal. I want to mention this if someone is using it to control the knee and not the leg. My Singer from 1959, but Singer #65 for much older machines. On the front it includes a bracket that holds the original pedal with the knee assembly attached to the right, so when you press the knee control the pedal is depressed. I had to remove the pedal bracket and add a simple L shaped bracket to hold the new foot pedal along with a piece of double sided tape to hold it in place. For knee control I had to add 2 washers with double sided tape and tape to fully depress the pedal. But it works. I have more strength than before and I'm making masks again! Thank you for a good product, I hope it will last for many years.
